Julian Fieres
Julian Fieres is Vice President and Global Head of Strategy, Corporate Development & M&A at HARTING Technology Group, where he leads the company's global strategy, corporate growth, M&A activities, and AI-driven transformation initiatives.
He serves on the advisory board of Fraunhofer Heilbronn (HNFIZ) and is pursuing a doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, researching large-scale corporate transformation. He teaches decision-making, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and sustainable transformation in MBA and executive education programs at WHU, Northwestern Kellogg, HSG St. Gallen, and HWZ Zurich.
Before joining HARTING, Julian was Vice President Transformation and Head of Strategy, Sustainability & Digitalization at ZF Friedrichshafen AG, where he led major global transformation, digitalization, and sustainability initiatives.
An experienced strategy and M&A executive, he has led international transactions, strategic partnerships, and business transformation projects across Europe, the US, and China.
His work has been recognized by Capital's Top 40 under 40, Handelsblatt's 30 Next Generation Managers, Automotive News Europe's Rising Star, and futur/io's Top 100 Sustainability Executives.
Julian holds an M.Sc. (with distinction) from the University of Glasgow, a B.A. from the University of Konstanz, and is a Certified M&A Professional from the Frankfurt School.
